Acid Wash vs. Chlorine Wash
Although the process is similar, the purpose of each treatment is different.
Acid Wash
Uses diluted muriatic acid to remove:

The Acid & Chlorine Wash Process

Step 2: Drain Pool & Shut Down Equipment
On service day:

The pool is completely drained
Drain lines are monitored to prevent backup
Draining typically takes 5–7 hours depending on pool size.
Step 3: Apply Acid or Chlorine Solution
After a final plaster inspection:
